17th Annual Capitol Hill Garage Sale Returns on Sunday, August 16th!

No garage? No problem! The 17th Annual Capitol Hill Garage Sale returns Sunday, August 16th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Cal Anderson Park, and all around the Hill! This annual event is Seattle’s longest running community-wide garage sale and regularly features over 150 people selling their treasures in Cal Anderson Park in addition to many independent garage sales at homes across Capitol Hill. This year will also feature a sidewalk sale featuring local Capitol Hill businesses.

The Cal Anderson Park Alliance hosts the Capitol Hill Garage Sale with generous support from community partners including Seattle Parks and Recreation, the Capitol Hill Seattle Blog, The Cuff, GSBA, The Capitol Hill Business Alliance, Board & Vellum, Hunters Capital, The Broadway BIA, Seattle Central College, Crossroads Trading, Koko's Tequila Bar, The Seattle Parks Foundation, and Pedersen’s Rentals. This annual event brings friends and neighbors out to activate Cal Anderson Park while bringing people together to shed some of those extra belongings, do some recycling and enjoy the summer!

Although tables and chairs are provided free of charge, the Capitol Hill Garage Sale is organized by a non-profit organization and is made possible through volunteers and community support.

If you're able, we greatly appreciate donations of any size to help offset the costs of:

  • Table and chair rentals

  • Event marketing and promotion

  • Event logistics and supplies

  • Keeping this beloved community event going strong for years to come

Every contribution helps us attract more shoppers and create the best possible experience for everyone involved.
